My Engraving
The process of engraving consists of making incisions of a design on to an item’s surface by cutting grooves into it. The result of this process is therefore permanent: the engraved text or image will last as long as the item lasts!
Please read the following instructions carefully.
Engraving Text
The number of lines and the number of characters available per line for each item is shown in the item’s product description. The numbers indicated assure perfect legibility. If, for some reason, you want us to engrave more characters than the number indicated, we will decide on a case by case basis if this is practically feasible. If not, we will contact you per e-mail with a counter proposal.
When counting characters please do include spaces. So when you count the letters of the text ABCD EFGH the total number of characters is 9.
Try to make text lines of about equal length. Longer text lines will be compressed horizontally during engraving, creating the optical illusion that the characters on the longer lines are smaller than the characters on shorter lines.
andiKia will not proofread your text. It is therefore very important that you verify your text for typing or other errors before sending it to us (see step 2 in the ordering process). Do this with the necessary care please.
